The biggest festival of the year is upon us! This weekend marks the 39th edition of the iconic Glastonbury Festival at Somerset’s Worthy Farm. With over 3,000 performances spread across dozens of stages, there's no shortage of incredible talent to discover. Topping the bill this year are three stellar headliners: The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo. To help you navigate the musical madness, we've rounded up our favourite must-see acts for Glastonbury Festival 2025.

Friday 27th June 2025

Alanis Morissette, Rizzle Kicks, Shed Seven

While the festival gates opened on Wednesday, it’s Friday when the main stages truly come alive. Things kick off with one of the much-anticipated mystery slots, fueling speculation that Lorde, recently spotted around London, might make an appearance. Other hot rumours swirling around the Farm include possible secret sets from Pulp and HAIM, both currently touring the UK on the buzz of new album releases.

On the Other Stage will be the returning high-energy Rizzle Kicks (13:00), the duo released their new album, Competition Is For Losers, earlier this year, after over a decade since their previous album release. The Woodsies stage that day will have this year's highly rated newcomers Fat Dog (14:00), and Britpop legends Shed Seven (15:15) will return, having last played the festival exactly 30 years ago! Later in the day, BRIT-nominated Best Pop Act Lola Young (16:30) takes the stage with her raw, soulful sound, capped off by Blossoms (18:00), bringing songs from their new album Gary.

Elsewhere throughout the day, Alanis Morissette (18:15) makes her Glastonbury debut on the main stage, Bradford's Terrorvision return after 28 years since last playing on the eclectic Fields Of Avalon (21:35). Other mentions to Hugh Cornwell (15:00 on Acoustic Stage), Antony Szmierek (19:50 on Left Field), Orbital's Phil Hartnoll (03:15 on Bimble Inn).

Saturday 28th June 2025

Kneecap, Kaiser Chiefs, Gary Numan

For Saturday, there are plenty of iconic veterans, starting on the main stage are the northern good timers Kaiser Chiefs (12:00), the band released their eighth album this year, filled with funk and pop to start the day off. This is then followed by Brandi Carlile (13:30) and The Script (15:00) as the main stage readies for the evening with Neil Young (22:00).

Award-winning Charli XCX (22:30) brings Brat summer back on the Other Stage, she follows after American rockers Deftones (20:30), who have an anticipated new album on the way. Jake Shears will be returning with the Scissor Sisters (22:30), after 12 years away from the band, they headline the Woodsies stage with the likes of The Amazons (11:30), Sorry (12:45), and Father John Misty (19:30) on the bill.

The Park Stage will welcome Gary Numan (18:00) for his long-awaited Glastonbury debut. With a prolific discography spanning decades, his set promises a journey through his career and comes ahead of the release of his upcoming live album, A Perfect Circle (Live at OVO Arena Wembley), next month. This performance is set to be a must-see moment of the festival. Also playing on the Park Stage will be Portishead's Beth Gibbons (21:15), whilst Hard-Fi (23:10 on Avalon), Kneecap (16:00 on West Holts) and Chloe Slater (17:35 on Left Field) all perform that day.

Sunday 29th June 2025

Olivia Rodrigo, The Libertines, Jorja Smith

Sunday is a day that won't be cutting any corners, with Olivia Rodrigo (21:45) headlining the night to close out the festival. The Pyramid Stage lineup also features Noah Kahan (19:45), Sir Rod Stewart (15:45) in the coveted 'Legends' slot, Nile Rodgers & Chic (18:00), and The Libertines (14:00), who return to the stage a decade after their last appearance on it.

Another highly anticipated return comes from Wolf Alice (19:45), who are gearing up to release their new album The Clearing. The band last played the festival in 2022 and will be joining a powerhouse lineup on the Other Stage alongside The Prodigy (21:45) and Turnstile (16:30). Over at Woodsies, Jorja Smith (21:30) will headline, with AJ Tracey (20:00) playing ahead. It's speculated that their hit duet 'Crush' will be performed live. Woodsies also boasts a stacked indie-punk lineup, kicking off with newcomers Westside Cowboy (11:15), followed by Gurriers (12:30) and SPRINTS at 14:00.
