T. Rex - I’m Dazed / Billy Super Duper (Take 2) 7 Inch Vinyl Giveaway

Demon Music Group has unearthed a remarkable piece of T. Rex history I’m Dazed is a previously unreleased song recorded in Munich between the Bolan’s Zip Gun and Futuristic Dragon sessions. The track captures Marc Bolan in a period of creative transition, balancing the raw rock instincts of Zip Gun with the funk and soul influences that would soon define Futuristic Dragon. Long thought lost, ‘I’m Dazed’ was rediscovered among studio tapes that also revealed its fascinating journey — first recorded at Château d'Hérouville near Paris in early 1975, then re-cut at Musicland Studios in Munich with Bolan producing and Reinhold Mack engineering. The session featured the classic T. Rex lineup of Steve Currie, Gloria Jones, Davey Lutton, and Dino Dines, capturing the band at a time when their sound was shifting but still unmistakably theirs.

To mark the discovery, ‘I’m Dazed’ has been newly mixed from the master tapes by musician and producer Steven Wilson, and it’s paired with another unearthed rarity, ‘Billy Super Duper (Take 2)’.
