Westside Cowboy - This Better Be Something Great
For Fans Of: Geese, Radio Free Alice
Debuts come and go. Some serve as juvenilia. Others showcase lost promise. Rarely are they cultural touchpoints. Enter This Better be Something Great by Westside Cowboy, an EP rammed with nu-generational indie. It’s been a while since something so era-defining dropped but you get the impression that Westside Cowboy are about to become a reference point. Shorthand for a new movement in guitar music. And when the dust settles, held in similar acclaim reserved for only the most influential of indie bands.

With a sound raw as a carpet burn, they ride a thrilling lo-fi boxcar tuned to the melodic precision of Teenage Fanclub and held together with the slacker cool of Pavement. Authentic, fidgety and immediate, the guitars on this record crackle like a twinkling bed of kindling primed to ignite at any given moment and when they do it’s a barn dance of headrush overdrive & blitzkrieg drums leaving listeners raw and fully exposed to each bristling, crackle of magic coming their way.
Available now on the Heist or Hit store on Limited Edition Blue and Black 12 Inch Vinyl.
HUMOUR - Learning Greek
For Fans Of: Idlewild, MOULD
Glasgow's Humour release their much-anticipated debut album Learning Greek (Produced by Idlewild's Rod Jones). The 11 songs of Learning Greek combine lithe riffs, throat-stripping intensity and a crushing take on the fabled loud/quiet dynamic.

Humour live together in Glasgow and formed across the lockdowns, writing and recording their material at home, with the music intended as a backdrop to Andreas Christoloudis' narrative-driven and often surreal lyrics. Sometimes they’re about letting people down, sometimes they’re about pets dying, sometimes they’re about trying to say something when you don’t have anything worth saying.
Available now on Transparent Yellow Vinyl and CD, bundles include an exclusive signed print.
The Covasettes - Honeymoon Forever
For Fans Of: Red Rum Club, Corella
The Covasettes are an Indie Rock quartet formed in the heart of Manchester’s student town, Fallowfield. Led by front-man Chris Buxton's effortlessly infectious lyrics, guitarist Matt Hewlett's anthemic Indie-Pop guitar hooks and glued together by bassist Jamie McIntyre and drummer Matt Buckley's insistently punchy grooves that you can't help but dance to, The Covasettes are an act that you just can't miss.

Honeymoon Forever is The Covasettes' debut album and will be released on the 10th April 2026.
"Years of whispers, rumours, and people drunkenly shouting at us, asking if we’d ever get around to making an album, have all led to this very moment. It’s finally happening…" - The Covasettes
Pre-order from The Covasettes Official Store on Signed Colour Vinyl + Signed Postcard, Signed CD + Signed Postcard, Signed Cassette + Signed Postcard.
GANS - Good For The Soul
For Fans Of: Home Counties, Fat Dog
GANS, the Birmingham duo of Euan Woodman and Thomas Rhodes, announce their debut album GOOD FOR THE SOUL, arriving via Strap Originals. Produced by Ross Orton (Arctic Monkeys, The Fall, Working Men’s Club), the album draws on a shared love of poetry, painting and literature. It’s a raw, introspective work that explores themes of acceptance, self-destruction and body image through stark post-punk frameworks and lyrical urgency.

Operating as a tight-knit hive-mind, GANS craft wiry, emotionally charged songs that connect personal reflection with broader cultural unease — a promising first step for a band already carving out a voice of their own.
"We’re influenced by life. I think that it’s like that because of all the genres of music that we’ve listened to over time that we can pick from. In terms of inspirational influences, it’s like the people around us and where we grew up, it’s just life, you know, like the things that happen to you. All those moments feed into the record." - Euan Woodman on Rolling Stone
Good For The Soul is available on 19th September 2025. Pre-order on White Vinyl with Exclusive Limited Poster and CD.
Mên An Tol - Regional Music
For Fans Of: The Royston Club, Peter Doherty
Regional Music is a vinyl compilation of Mên An Tol's first two EPs, 'The Country' and 'This Land'. With the announcement of the Compilation and This Land EP comes the release of the new single 'Not Ideal', produced by Carlos O'Connell of Fontaines DC - a chiming epic and live favourite. The single follows the band playing two shows at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, supporting Miles Kane at his London Moth Club show and playing with The Libertines at the Eden Project in Cornwall.

The band have continued their live performances, recently playing The Great Escape, supporting Yannis & The Yaw, and completed a three-date residency at The Dublin Castle. Upcoming dates include various European Festivals, followed by a UK tour with Cardinals. Mên An Tol first emerged last year with their brilliant debut ‘NW1’, a track that picked up BBC 6 Music and Radio 1 support. They have been tipped by So Young, The New Cue, DIY, Still Listening, Notion and more.
Regional Music is available on 26th September 2025. Pre-order on Vinyl.
